“She'd love that,” her co-star soothed. “You meant a lot to her. She saw you kinda as a daughter.”

“Poor Caroline!” she cried. “She died all alone!”

Victor hugged her, petting her arm, “Shh.. it's okay. I know it's hard, but it'll be okay.”

She nodded vaguely, pulling away, “I n-need to get home.”
